He is perhaps best known in America for his novels The Master and Brooklyn. His 2012 novel, The Testament of Mary, was short-listed for the Man Booker Prize and adapted as a play, produced on Broadway with Fiona Shaw. His newest novel is Norah Webster. We gathered at the Port Washingon Public Library with musical guest, fiddler Stephanie Coleman.
